This 68% dark chocolate is a testament to the dedication of Mr. Poimon Dangkat, a seasoned 62-year-old farmer who has nurtured his 2-hectare cacao farm with his wife since 2011.

Renowned for his craftsmanship, Mr. Dangkat's beans are celebrated for their bright citrus and tropical fruity notes with low acidity. Despite challenges like rising fertilizer costs and climate change, his unwavering resilience has kept Kota Marudu’s cacao tradition alive. His commitment to excellence was recognized in 2021 when he won the Asia Pacific Cocoa Excellence Award in Italy.
